What will it take for Africa to build a green and globally competitive textile industry?
Africa’s textile and apparel industry has significant potential to drive industrial development, create jobs and strengthen regional trade. However, achieving this potential will require greater investment in sustainable production, resource efficiency, innovation and competitive regional value chains.
The Africa Cotton, Textile and Apparel (CTA) Centre invites policymakers, investors, manufacturers, development finance institutions, sourcing companies and other industry stakeholders to a virtual dialogue exploring practical pathways towards greener and more competitive textile manufacturing in Africa.
